Formé fin 2009, Hollywood Bowl s'est fixé le challenge de recréer l'alchimie si particulière qui a fait des Doors une figure emblématique de l'Acid Rock voire du Rock tout court.

Les horizons musicaux très différents des 5 membres du groupe se fondent pour ne faire qu’un, les dates s'enchaînent en Belgique et en Hollande, et l'Esprit qui caractérisait les Doors est toujours présent à travers Hollywood Bowl !

Les sons de claviers si particuliers à Manzarek et un chant très proche de Jim sont parmis les éléments qui font replonger le public 40 ans en arrière pour revivre ces chansons mythiques que sont entre autres « Light my fire » ou encore « The end ». Plusieurs titres sont écoutables sur myspace, version studio, ou en live. Is everybody in ?? The Ceremony is about to begin !!

Founded in Autumn 2009, Hollywood Bowl wants to re-create the very special alchemy that made The Doors one of the greatest Acid Rock band of all time, despite a very short period of fame (only 4 years).

The very different musical horizons of the 5 members of the band quickly turn into a great balanced mix, they go on the road and made some hot gigs in Belgium & Holland, and now a thing is sure, the great spirit of the Doors is still present through Hollywood Bowl !!

The very particular Manzarek’s keyboards sounds and a great baritone charismatic voice, kinda like Jim are some of the elements that can send people 40 years earlier to live again those great mythic songs like “Light my fire” or also “The End”. Hollywood Bowl bestaat sedert 2009 en heeft één grote muze: The Doors. De band wil de alchemie heruitvinden die van The Doors het paradepaardje van de Acid Rock en zelfs de Rock heeft gemaakt.

De totaal verschillende muzikale achtergronden van de vijf bandleden zorgen voor een boeiende mix. De concertdata in België en Nederland volgen elkaar in een hoog tempo op. Hollywood Bowl slaagt er altijd opnieuw in om de typische The Doors spirit op te roepen.

Dankzij een pianist à la Manzarek en een zanger met een stem die lijkt op die van Jim wordt het publiek veertig jaar in de tijd teruggekatapulteerd en kan het mythische songs zoals « Light my fire » en « The end » opnieuw beleven. Verscheidene titels zijn beschikbaar op myspace, in studio- of live versie. Is everybody in ?? The Ceremony is about to begin !!
